Congratulations women of Egypt Settohom is the President of the Republic  

My name is Settohom, I sell radish and watercress, I don't read but I can write some words and listen to the news sometimes. My husband is Abu Flan, he works on a carriage transporting furniture and he's cursing the donkey all day. I have a daughter names Azza who is married now and has two boys Ahmed and Mohamed.
Oneday, when I was preparing my vegetable stand, I saw many policemen and people gathering. One of them asked me to come. Frankly, I was afraid. He said what's your name? I said, sir I'm a poor woman who sells radish and watercress, and I asked the police officer, what is going on? He said, congratulations Settohom, you will become a big thing in this country. He said that there will be constitutional amendments, which will allow women to be nominated in the People's Assembly and be given the key to the city.
They took me to a very big house full of green trees and flowers. They said this is your palace madam, things I only see on television. A lot of people are taking pictures of me. I said surely I'm dreaming, and I have never dreamed of becoming something like this. They took me inside the palace and asked me to take a bath and wear clothes on the latest fashion and fixed my hair in a stylish way.
Then they asked me to assign Ministers, Governors and Officials. I said no one is better fit than my friends, the women I know back home. One of the men shouted saying, you will be deciding the fate of the country madam. I was determined to make my friends the officals in this country.
I had a meeting with them, and we sat on the ground. Omm Samia knows how to read and write well. I asked her to write the following: First of all, everyone must live in this country as equals. We decided that everyone in this country must work, everyone will wear the same clothes and no one will use cars for transportation.
Abu Flan and my daughter Azza were looking for me for two days, and they found out where I live now, they were very upset with me. I told him that I was chosen by lot to become the President and you will be the first man. I lived comfortably for a few days with many servants and doctors and a lot of food. And Abu Flan is astonished by what he is seeing. The President's consultant Omm Usama tells Abu Flan that women have been striving for many years and were bearing many responsibilities, like when they struggled against the Uthmanic regime and their heroic stands in Bolaq, Bab El Shaireya and Imbaba, and were among the demonstrator in the 1919 revolution against the foreign occupation demanding freedom and equality, and contributing in providing income for this country by working in fields, factories, houses, schools and hospitals. Then the 1923 constitution deprived women from their right to nominate themselves in any elections. Then came the 1971 constitution that provided women with equal rights to men. But that's only on paper, because women still face discrimination at home on the street and at work. They gave women only 60 chairs in the Parliament, how equal is that?
Then came Sayeda El Ayqa crying for the President saying: my husband will marry another woman for the third time, saying that he can feed all three of us, which he can't by that way. And Settohom shouted, how could this happen when I'm the President? Then Abu Flan suggested a solution. He proposed to make a new law called "the new marriage law" just like "the new rent law", this law states that the marriage period must be determined for one year, which can be renewed only if both parties agree to that. Settohom said that she will decrease the period to six moths only to be renewed only by the female party. Then Abu Flan asked, what about the house, furniture, car and children, who will they belong to? Aysha El Sakta said that the relationship between a man and his wife must nut be measured by such material matters, it must be measured by feelings, love warmth and acceptance. Settohom said that for such material thinking by men, women will be controlling the country from now on. Abu Flan shouted, then who will cook food, clean the house and slave for men all day. Settohom called out the guards and said, take this man to the sanatorium till he recovers and sees women equal to men in all rights and duties.
We also join our voice to Settohom's voice and demand all men to have faith in in women's human rights including the right to rule the country, and long live Settohom President of the Republic.
