Message from the people of Warrak to the Minister of Environment Pollution is threatening their lives
The people of Warrak have sent their complaints to the LCHR after they have failed to receive any response from the governmental bodies to solve their pollution problems. The streets in El Warrak have turned into garbage dumps. The people want to send their complaints to the Minster of Environment after the Giza governor and his employees have neglected their complaints.
El Warrak people propose not to pay taxes for cleaning the trash, and instead, they wish to establish an association through the Ministry of Environment, which is to be responsible of cleaning the streets and paving the roads. They wish that the Ministry could contribute with some money to establish this association, which will work under its supervision but will be managed by the people.
The people think that the governor and his employees are so busy handling other matters that can improve their income, so the people would like to manage their own affairs.
This is a call from the LCHR and the people of Warrak to the Minister of Environment to pay a visit to El Warrak city and study their proposal, as when the Minister of Environment himself visits El Warrak, we are confident that all the streets will be cleaned in no time, which will give El Warrak people the chance to breath some fresh air even if for a couple of hours during his visit.
The LCHR hopes that the Ministry of Environment considers studying the people's proposal to clean their streets themselves to guarantee their right to live in a clean non-polluted environment.
