Call to the officials in Egypt … Did anyone hear about juice & water peddlers?

The LCHR has received dozens of complaints from the juice and water peddlers in Enebas village – Sohag governorate. They say that they are always chased by the police that mistreats and humiliates them, claiming that they don't have ID cards or health certificates although most of them have these documents.
These peddlers have to leave their homes and families in search for work in the big cities, like Cairo and Alexandria, and everywhere they go, the police chases and humiliates them. These peddlers say that they cannot afford to pay a rent to live in these big cities, which forces up to five peddlers to live in the same room, they also say that their families in their villages live in homes without any services or facilities. There isn't a single corporation in Egypt that protects the rights of these peddlers, like health insurance when they get sick.
The LCHR demands the Minister of Manpower to allow the workers of the unofficial sector who reach up to five million workers and include juice and water peddlers, to give them the right to establish syndicates that can protect their rights and interests.
The LCHR also presents the complaints of these juice and water peddlers to the Minister of the Interior demanding him to stop the police forces from chasing and humiliating these peddlers and guarantee their right to a humane treatment.
The LCHR also demands the Prime Minister to guarantee the rights of rural people living in Upper Egypt to public services, decent housing and healthcare.
