A symposium about children conditions in the new reclaimed lands in El Rahawa village - Giza

Land Center for Human Rights has held a symposium in El Rahawa village - Giza in 18/12/2004 with the parents of children working in farms located in Badr area - Giza, which is called: (the new reclaimed area) famous with farming grapes, apples and some vegetables, it depends mainly on working children in the deferent levels of the farming process.
The symposium discussed the rights of working children in the international covenants and agreements; it also discussed how to deal with some of the violations that children face during their work or while transporting from/to work.
