269 Women of Qalyubia demand better sewage system, and equality Land Centre held its training workshop on Saturday, 20.3.2010, at the Charity Foundation of Amer, Barshoum El-Soghra village - Tookh - Qaliubiya. The seminar was attended by sixty women, and some girls and men of the village. The seminar has been split into two grounds; where Mr / Mohammad Hejazi, head of the Assembly of flowers, had headed the first axis in which Mr. Karam Saber, Director of the center of the earth, spoke about how to deal with the problems met with citizens in the Egyptian countryside, especially concerning sewage system and the provision of bread. The second session was headed by Dr / Abeer Badran, a teacher of Business Administration, who had reviewed the most critical problems facing women in the village, and in particular female genital mutilation. In addition, twenty women from the attendants have been selected to form a working group managed by Dr. Abeer, to agree upon practical solutions to the problems they faced and the role of land center in the solutions. It was agreed that the General Coordinator shall organize a visit program for the leaders of the Assembly of the land center to attend his workshop and training to identify activities, and it was agreed to support the rights of the disabled and persons with disabilities in the village through the coordination center of the earth with the organizations of disabled The workshop concluded by putting plans of action to support women's rights, peasant village in order to ensure their rights to equality. |
