Programs to improve the situation of working women in agriculture
Dear friends;
Land Center for Human Rights is pleased to invite you to attend a caucus about "Protests and riots of Egyptians against tyranny", in the context of assuring the penetration of culture of resistance for Egyptians, which has been rooted through different historical phases, starting from the pharaonic country till the beginning of the Egyptian development in the recent era.
In many caucuses and circular seminar, and by the help of the researcher Mr. Abdul Aziz Jamal, the center will illustrate the most prominent revolutions and strikes; the history of farmers and national movement; and there role in building the Egyptian personal culture.
The center is honored to invite you to the first caucus, which is about:
The first rebellion acts at the end of the ancient pharaonic state.
The caucus of literary and artistic expression of this rebellion (The wise man Nibwr).
Jokes and characters. The Song of the guitarist. Treasury of Pharaoh. Bird and the sea.
Revolts against the Persians, and the defeat before foreign state.
Revolts against the Ptolemy. (7 rebellions).
The conflict between the Egyptian thoughts and Macedonian invasion, and its impact on the theoretical and experimental thinking, locally and internationally.
Revolts against the Romans and Byzantines. (Gnosticism and Christianity).
Acts of the Alexandrians martyrs. (From ancient papyri).
Acts of the Martyrs of the Copts. (Conflict between the Egyptian Church and the Romanian Church).
The meeting will be held on Sunday, 4/4/2010, at the headquarter of land center in Cairo, in the new address: 76 Goumhoureyya Street, Apartment 67 - the eighth floor, beside El-Fath mosque - Azbekeyya - Cairo.
From 3-6 pm.
Professor / Manal Tibi, head of the Egyptian Center for Housing Rights, will conduct the meeting.
