The workshop theme
"Rural women ..... neglected right .... how long?"
We read the general adviser to the State in the recent serious developments with regard to women to assume the post of elimination was a setback to the achievement of women in this field that it had the constitutional right to eliminate the project assuming that where we find the elders of judges refuse to work of women by eliminating the public adviser to the State and the justifications for this rejection is that there are many difficulties facing the work of Egyptian women eradication because it is cumbersome and have a negative impact on family life, which is the basis for building a healthy society.
Wondering Center of the Earth remembers the pain of the elders of the judges to the difficulties faced by Egyptian women of different strata and environments, especially in rural Egypt in their work different and exercising under harsh working conditions and are forced to endure these conditions so that they can cope with life weighed down the shoulders of many men?? And leave her young children and her house against her will to provide them with a living may just not go beyond filling the hungry mouths, and do a lot of simple women without any guarantees or insurance or any guarantee of their rights of any kind, and are forced to carry all these burdens in order to earn a honest living help them to face the treachery of life.
And stresses on the double standards that society deals with women from the women of the State Council on the educated and uneducated and the end of simple women from the countryside and other places disadvantaged and which does not exceed the dreams of women with more health and does not seek to conceal more than a massage Despite this subject also the double standards and double standards of these women cannot find in front but to work in occupations different minor from the sale of vegetables and animal products to work in the home and perform some simple services to others in order to provide a minimum of livelihood and that was one of them to a health crisis for example, they may not find the treatment price and found her hungry only sections of charity and good people
In this context, the world celebrates on March 8, International Women's Day As part of this celebration are honored to highlight to women the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in the exercise of their natural rights to life, liberty, namely rural women
Affects rural women's work to advance the well-being of rural society and they represent about 25% of the population of Egypt, almost, and has a unique role which by their very nature, it is also the man involved in many community and social activites.
Although the contribution of women to varying degrees in the various activities of the country side economy the data and statistics do not give a correct picture about the size of the contribution of women in agricultural production and national economy, because these data do not include the mostly women's informal work and their role in household production, unpaid
Statistics show that about 20% of women are now supporting their families and to different social circumstances (the death of her husband - divorce - low family income)
The growing role of rural women after migration rate of men, leaving the responsibility for agricultural work and decision-making in the family for woman
