Necessity of supporting women and citizens for the development of countryside

Land center for human rights organized a training workshop in the society of social justice in 6 October governorate on 12/9/2009 with the attendance of a lot of members of the board and legislative assembly. It was about planning to prepare and do the projects of the society for next year.
First session began with discussing the problems of the society such as lack of financial and human resources as well as the village and villages in the near not participating in the social activities. The participants demonstrated the violations of police officers that terrified the village and prevented them from participation in order not to be exposed to suppression and persecution.
In second session, the participants discussed how to overcome these problems by enlightenment of the importance of social activity to achieve development in the region. At the end they decided to do many projects with community centers in the region, do campaigns to adopt the problems of citizens. Also they discussed the role of rural woman in developing the countryside and necessity of supporting and empowering women to be able to do that. The meeting also discussed solving the problem of lack of financial resources by training some of the young men in the village to participate in the activities of the society. Participants assured the necessity of depending on national and international funding and donations from landowners and contributions from the members and members of the board.
The meeting ended with deciding to change these plans into projects to be presented to international organization for funding. Finally the attendants assured that LCHR should adopt the projects of the society and support it until be funded, and should carry out these activities to serve its community and to improve the financial circumstances of its citizens to live in security and prosperity.
