The rights of workers in the Labor Law

The LCHR has held a Seminar on 25/4/2010 entitled "the rights of workers in the new labor law" which was attended by 40 participants from private companies from the 10th of Ramadan City and local rural community associations with a concern for the rights of workers.
The meeting discussed many of the rights of workers in the labor law, such as increment and the allowance per worker earnings, the meeting also discussed the damage to workers from the application of the labor law and the facilities mentioned by the law for workers when the litigation and wrongful dismissal meeting also discussed the rights of workers at an enterprise and close or publicity bankruptcy and stressed the continuation of employment contracts upon transfer of ownership of the enterprise while ensuring that law to the rights of workers when the new owner is undiminished.
The meeting also discussed collective labor agreements, "according to part III of the fourth book of this law, which was force their deposit with the administrative body and the dissemination of this deposit in the Egyptian Gazette became legislation binding on the date of entry into force of the Convention does not entail the conclusion of the collective agreement and legislation has to discard the benefits enjoyed by workers in this category, as the law requires that benefits received autopsy minimum, which is negotiated on the basis of the conclusion of the collective agreement and therefore the benefits of workers, if not more, in accordance with the Convention on the collective, it will not fall below the benefits that they had enjoyed under their legislation on " .
Participants stressed the need to organize training courses through the Centre for the circulation of legal and labor expertise to ensure the rights of workers and improve their living conditions.
