The social movements and their relationship
with the NGOs
In August 5, 2000, LCHR held a symposium about the social movements and their
relationship with the NGOs. Active human rights’ member discussed this issue in
a paper. The symposium defended the HRs organizations underlying the critical
circumstances they went through. It took the experience of LCHR as a model for
evaluation.
There were more symposiums on “The Farmers’ Conditions in rural Egypt”, and “The
Role of the NGOs in the Social Movements” and other issues.
