Land center with students of the Holy
Family Secondary School on the social and economic rights
Land center for human rights organized a discussion roundtable about human
rights conceptions especially social and economic rights and the rights of
farmers in cooperation with students of a secondary school.
The director of the center, Mr. Karam Saber, explained the center's activities
in this field, in addition to the difficulties of these activities and how they
deal with them. Saber Naiel from the Arabian program of human rights activists
showed the different charters of human rights. Mohamed Zarea ,the director of
the Humanr Rights Center for the Assistance of Prisoners, discussed the
conditions of civil and political rights and their relation with economic
rights. The students showed the content of bulletin “Towards more humanistic
world” and asked some questions about how they can share in building a better
world.
It was the second discussion that the center held with students of Holy Family
School. The center held many discussions in Beni Swief, El Dakhlia and El Behira
around human rights especially the international promise of social and economic
rights. The center aims to generalize these symposiums in all governates to
contribute in creating cultural generation in order to have a reality that
believes in differences and variety of thoughts to achieve more humanistic and
safe society.
