The role of the NGOs in defending the child’s rights
• In 13/07/2000, LCHR held a discussion circle
entitled: The role of the NGOs in defending the Rights of the Child.” It was
attended by a number of people who are concerned with the child’s affaires and
human rights. The discussion revolved around LCHR’s report that carries the same
title, aiming to examine the best ways to overcome the problems that the
nation's faces in this arena so that it can perform its duties towards the
children’s issues effectively. The symposium assessed the information mentioned
in LCHR’s report, and discussed them in detail. Finally, it suggested practical
solutions that would be carried through with the help of the attendants
