The people of Ezbet Gamal El Faransawy have no place to live after their eviction

On 31/3/2007, LCHR has held a symposium in Ezbet Gamal El Faransawy – Monofeya, which was attended by 35 farmers.
The meeting discussed farmers' problems, especially with ownership claimers, who have forged ownership contracts and filed lawsuits demanding the eviction of the farmers out of these lands.
Many farmers were forced to leave their lands by torture and violence, and the farmers ask the LCHR to support them and stop these violations.
Then the meeting discussed other problems in the village, as it has no schools, no health units, no clean potable water and no paved roads, expressing farmers' need for support and help to develop their conditions.
The participants agreed to form a committee that will meet members of the People's Assembly to demand protection against any violations and provide farmers with their essential needs.
