In Nov. 11, 2000, LCHR held another symposium, which was entitled “The Land Law in Egypt and its effect on (the farmers’) incomes”.
This symposium dealt with the paper issued by LCHR that had the same title. It
was attended by a number of agricultural experts. It dealt with the main changes
that accompanied the implementation of the land tenure law. The attendance
participated in adding more suggestions for solving the farmers’ problems
including the deteriorating income levels.
LCHR expressed its intention to hold
more symposiums about that same issue.
