Training workshop to support the rights of working children in Luzur

On 18/7/2006, the LCHR has held a training workshop in the headquarter of the Family Development Association in Armant - Luxur. 40 participants have attended this meeting, which was about the problems of working children and the conditions f their families after being evicted out of their land, and the village agrarian problems in irrigation water, pesticides and fertilizers.
The meeting has also discussed the problems of child labor, the hazards that children face while working and their bad working conditions.
The meeting has also discussed the problems of some working women, as most of them don't have birth certificates or ID cards, which make it very difficult for them to act in the society.
The meeting has also discussed the village problems with public services, like drainage systems and clean potable water.
The LCHR lawyers and researchers have discussed with the participants how they could demand their rights and present their complaints to the specialized authorities in order to improve their livelihood conditions.
