Training workshop to support the rights of working women in Asiute

On 18/6/2006, the LCHR has held a training workshop in the headquarter of El Ataa'a Association for Social Development and Public Services in El Berba village – Asiute governorate.
There were more than 30 participants who have included women, association members, educated girls and women workers in the agrarian sector. The meeting has discussed two issues:
The first is to specify the needs and problems of women in the village especially working women. The second is about a local program to develop the conditions of working women.
The LCHR has agreed with the participants to organize another training course at the LCHR headquarter to complete what they have learned in this course to support the village women by providing them with legal aid and awareness about their rights.
