How to support the citizens’ rights in political participation, Kaft union – Quena “training session” 11th of November 2005

The LCHR has held a training session under the title of “How to support the citizens’ rights in political participation” in Kaft union – Quena on the 11th of November 2005 where the key international laws and agreements supporting the rights of participation were displayed. The participants have discussed the role of the Egyptian parliament in the process of change through issuing legislations in favor of development in the rural areas and surveying the role of the executive authorities. The participants have discussed suggested methods of training for the participants on how to survey the elections efficiently through the application form prepared by the LCHR displaying some of commonly practiced methods of cheating and how to combat them. a work team was approved to survey the elections, issue reports, support the candidates’ rights file appeals in order to guarantee integrity and improve participation.
