The role of national associations in supporting women issues
At the beginning, the pamphlet highlights the status of women participation, and the economic, social, cultural and political conditions effecting it, showing that this absence exists in national associations, even those that are non-profit and work to improve the conditions of human rights.
Then, it presents the history of establishing national association in Egypt till the present time, stating that currently there are twenty thousand national associations in Egypt that include more than three million members who work in different fields of human rights, and how these national associations can play an important role in enabling women.
Then, the pamphlet shows that Egyptian national associations work in different fields, such as: education, health, human rights, the media and the press, supporting working girls and enabling women politically.
In everyone of these fields, national associations work on supporting and reinforcing women, enabling women leaderships, developing women skills, spreading awareness in rural areas about the importance of women participation, providing suitable work opportunities for young women, protecting children and guaranteeing their rights and showing the positive effects of women participation in all means of the media.
At the end, the LCHR asserts that applying such programs will contribute in creating a better world that is free of discriminations and guarantees a decent life for everyone.
