Working Girls

This pamphlet defines child labor in the different fields worldwide and in Egypt especially in the Egyptian countryside, as child labor there has reached about 3 million working children, most of them are girls.
This pamphlet presents the effects of child labor on children's mental and physical health. It also presents the concept of violence against children especially girls socially and officially.
It also shows that the labor law no. 12 for the year 2003 excludes working girls from its protection depriving them of their right to legal protection.
It also presents the conditions of working girls and how they are deprived of their rights to education and healthcare.
The pamphlet also shows the dangers that children face while they bare working, and shows the role of civil society organizations in protecting them.
