Developmental Aims
This pamphlet is about the main developmental aims mentioned in the UN Declaration, which must be implemented by all countries before the year 2015, and these aims are:
1) Eliminating poverty and hunger.
2) Generalizing primary education.
3) Reinforcing gender equality and enabling women.
4) Reducing the death rate among children.
5) Improving mental health.
6) Fighting HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other dangerous diseases.
7) Guaranteeing environmental sustainability.
8) Establishing a global partnership for development.
This pamphlet also shows the role of civil society organizations in the mobilization and the awareness raising campaigns to guarantee the implementation of these aims for a better future.
