Child labor and women in the countryside
In the series of land and the farmer No. (59); aimed at identifying the problems of women and children working in agriculture.
Shows the first section of the report, titled "Rural women in Egypt the, the current status and the future hoped" the size of women's employment in the countryside, which amounts to 70% of the volume of employment.
The first section reviews the types of work performed by women in rural areas starting from cleaning houses to collect crops, the report shows the different aspects of women's employment in the countryside such as the deteriorating conditions of women's rights in the organization, work and trade union freedom and equality.
It also shows the different problems of female employment in rural areas such as illiteracy and lack of employment opportunities and low living conditions of workers in the agricultural sector and rural women in general.
Then shows the second section, titled "Child labor countryside in the wind" to review the role of the hard state institutions to protect the rights of children and size of employment and some observations on the labor law, which excluded children and women of legal protection and is opposed by some law texts to work with the Children's Act and international conventions.
Section III then addresses the risks of child labor and women in the countryside in the absence of legal protection of their rights relating to ill-health and deteriorating social conditions, particularly as the children who are exposed to road accidents and injured deficit ratios do not deserve a pension or compensation in accordance with the law!! In contravention of conventions and international labor conventions and human rights.
And Section IV reviews the social conditions of women workers in the agricultural sector of Pure and report shows the size of employment and working conditions deteriorating, then report goes on to political and economic conditions of women and children working in the agricultural sector and shows the absence of political participation and the weakness and the absence of institutions that defend their rights and the deterioration of entry families.
Then report concludes a section on some of the concluding observations and recommendations, and --- the operating conditions and the size of child labor, women and agricultural workers in the world and Egypt and their rights to decent work and the need to implement international labor standards on them and the role of government, organizations and parties to protect those rights.
It also shows the role of international organizations to support and assist these workers, and the need to form independent trade unions to support safety for them and their rights to decent work and security.
